Suffolk County Council can provide assistance to help people make their homes warmer and healthier, ideally keeping them out of hospital and GP surgeries.
We have recently won a few large pots of money, one of which focuses on FREE first time central heating for those who currently don’t have it.
Please see Poster for more details.
If you are at school (or a student) aged 25 or under, there may be things that you need for your studies that you can’t quite afford.
As a Trust, we are set up to provide grants to young people and educational organisations in the locality of up to £200.
The Trustees meet quarterly (next meeting is in May) to consider applications and to award grants.
In order to qualify, you must also live in one of the parishes – Eye, Athelington, Bedfield or Horham.
Grants are intended to help with expenses that are not provided by the Local Education Authority.
To discuss your interest or to request an application form, please contact the Clerk to the Trustees:

Suffolk Walking Festival 14th May – 5th June 2016
Update – please see attachment.
There is a varied programme of 77 themed walks across the county range in length from a gentle stroll of one mile, to a challenging 60 miles in 24 hours and which will take place along Suffolk’s glorious coast, through scenic, gently undulating countryside and around our medieval towns and villages.
Some walks include a cream tea or other refreshments and all are an informal and sociable way to explore the county, meet like-minded people and to indulge in a leisure activity which benefits both body and soul.
To view the full walks programme and book tickets, visit the festival website www.suffolkwalkingfestival.co.uk.
Brochures will be available from Suffolk tourist information centres.
