Free Get Active Day in Eye will ‘delight’
Get Active Day is being held in Eye next month following the town being named as runner-up in the Most Active Town in Suffolk competition.
Starting at 10am and running till 4pm on Sunday, April 13 at Eye Community Centre, of Magdalen Street, a range of sporting activities will be available for people to try in a bid to get people active. Traditional sports, such as football and cricket, will be on offer, as well as less well-known forms of exercise, such as rush hockey, karate, orienteering, street and freestyle dancing, ballet, zumba, for both sexes and all ages, as well as guided walks and cycles, and bell ringing.
Team Rubicon will also have a demonstrator and instructor at the skate park.
