Cricket has been played in Eye for quite some time. Earlier on the ground was at the front of what now is the Cornwallis (formerly the Oaksmere). In the 1950′s the Eye Grammar School sold their playing field and since then the home of the Eye & District CC has been at the end of Ludgate Causeway.
Youth teams training takes place on a Monday evening at the cricket ground from mid April to late August, with teams for under 9′s, under 11′s, under 13′s and under 15′s, so why not come along with your child and see what we do (for some groups there may be a waiting list). For interested adults, why not come along to a home fixture and then ask for Jon Seal, Brain Lock or Ross Stannard. All newcomers welcome at the club.
