Street Lighting
Eye Town Council is responsible for 129 street lights within the Town of Eye. The upkeep, and energy costs are substantial for a small town. The Town Council is committed to the idea of introducing intelligent lighting which can be switched off when required in order to reduce costs for residents.
The rest of the lights in the town are either the responsibility of Mid Suffolk District Council or Suffolk County Council.
Reporting a Street Light Fault

Emergency Faults
If you think the fault is an emergency or you want to report one of the following faults,:
- electrical wires sticking out from the column/unit;
- 3 or more adjacent lights out, whole streets, adjacent streets;
- damaged columns, bollards, signs or lights;
