The Suffolk Shedfest 2023 is an opportunity for potential shedders, existing shedders, and stakeholders in Suffolk to celebrate the incredible work being carried out, connecting individuals in a cohesive manner to provide practical community solutions, whist tackling loneliness, isolation and improving welfare.

The conference provides an opportunity for shedders in Suffolk to come together for a series of talks and workshops on key themes in The Men’s Sheds environment, and an opportunity for networking and sharing practice across the sector.

The program includes:

• An inspirational talk by Chris Fisher “The Blind Woodturner” plus demonstration.
• First Aid for Men’s Sheds taster. (Workshop)
• Safeguarding: Men’s Sheds – what you need to know
• Advantages of becoming a CIO. How we did it – Haverhill Mens Shed (Workshop)
• How and why, we made our Standard Operating Procedures – Hadleigh Mens Shed (Workshop)
• Shed Dating / Networking.
• Tools with a mission.
• A number of displays and information points from relevant external companies and organisations. 

A fish and chip lunch and refreshments will be provided.
