An opportunity for a creative and dedicated individual to join our charity shop team has arisen at our charity shop in Eye, Suffolk. We are looking for an experienced Deputy Shop Manager who can help develop our charity shop. You will be responsible, along with the Shop Manager, for all aspects of the shop’s smooth running from stock processing and cash handling to volunteer recruitment and training. You should be able to lead and motivate a team of volunteers. Have excellent customer service skills and be computer literate. We are especially looking for an individual that has a ‘can do’ attitude in all areas of the shop. This position is for 2 days per week, 9.15am to 4.45pm (including alternate Saturdays). Your holiday entitlement will be 5.6 weeks per year (pro rata inclusive of bank holidays). We will also need you to work additional days as required to cover the Shop Manager’s holiday or any periods of absence. These will be paid in addition to your annual salary.
