The Eye Town Mayor will present the Eye Town Council Civic Awards to people who have contributed to the running of our vibrant Suffolk town.You are able to participate by proposing someone who has done amazing things for the town. This can be something very public or something that just puts the oil on the cogs and keep them turning, without anyone noticing.

This year 2023 will include a report update from the first ever Eye Youth Community Council. This will cover their formation and the progress the council has made, details of future plans and the direction they will take. This is an exciting new project jointly bought about by Eye Town Council and Hartismere School and Sixth Form Collage, assisted by Scout and Girl Guide groups. The Eye Youth Community Council have already made there first contribution to Civic affairs laying a wreath at the Eye Town War Memorial on Remembrance Sunday.
