To help Eye Town Council inform MSDC about the views of residents of Eye and surrounding villages, the Town Council is running a drop-in session at the Town Hall on the 13th of June from 2.30 to 7.30pm.
At the drop in there will be a chance for you to consider four main aspects of the proposed development and its impact on Eye
The ‘hard infrastructure’ – things like traffic and roads, water supply and drainage, footpaths and cycle-ways, broadband;
The ‘soft infrastructure’ – things like health services, schools, shops and other services, recreation provision (include sports);
The environment – existing and new trees, hedges, habitats and green spaces for people,energy efficiency and renewable energy, waste management;
The houses – numbers and types of houses, street styles, affordable houses, social housing, broad design ideas.
You will be able to contribute your thoughts and have a discussion with Eye Town Councillors about matters that are important to you Representatives from Mid Suffolk District Council and the landowner’s planning advisors are being invited but this drop-in event is for you to share your thoughts with the Town Council . The intention is to gather the range of views of local people and share this with the planners and development’s agents so they are aware of these views. The Town Council wants to ensure that the views of local people are heard and understood when plans are being finalised and considered.
The Town Council hopes to see you there.
