Suffolk Day is a day to celebrate all the wonderful things the county is known for, including the stunning countryside, local produce, welcoming communities and its heritage. This year Hartismere Place care home in Eye is hosting a Suffolk fair, along with Care UK’s nine other homes in Suffolk.
Each care home will have their own stall, selling arts & crafts and homemade treats, produced by residents and staff. Suffolk Owl Sanctuary will bring along various birds of prey for visitors to meet and learn about, and there will be live entertainment by Year Two children at St Peter and St Paul Primary School in Eye. From 1pm, visitors can enjoy music by local band, Beaten Track.
Other activities include an outdoor games corner, ice cream stall and refreshments.
