‘No Right Turn’ at Stuston Road Proposed
Suffolk County Council (SCC) is proposing movement restriction on the A140 / B1077 junction (next to the Devil’s Handbasin), to prevent vehicles turning right onto the main road. Drivers will be expected to use the A140/A147 roundabout to get back from Diss instead.
Many will feel this is an inadequate way of dealing with what is a notoriously dangerous junction. To contact SCC on this matter and give your opinions on this proposal, contact Heather Miller at Heather.Miller@suffolk.gov.uk
The consultation runs until the 26th February. SCC is possibly considering measures at the southern junction as well, these will be consulted on in due course.

Lorry Watch is a scheme you can be part of which aims to spot Lorries going through the 7.5 tonne limit area of Eye. It does not require ‘formal’ monitoring. You could be at home, out walking the dog, shopping or having a meal and still be an active Lorry Watch member, recording and reporting offending vehicles.
