November 13^th Eye Town Mayor, will lead the Eye Remembrance day service

The parade will assemble and leaves the Eye fire station on Lambeth Street at 10.45 Heading to the Town Hall on Broad Street, then gathers around the memorial. Joined by the councils for the laying of the wreaths. The Rev’d Dr Guy Sumpter will reflect saying a few words, and remembring those who gave so much in conflicts around the world. The 11.00 chimes from the town hall clock mark the start of the three minuets silence and last post is played.
The Parade assembles to march along Church Street to wards the Church. Arriving at the Church for the Remembrance service. The parade then marches back to to the town hall along Church Street. All residents are welcome to light refreshments in the Town Hall.
Public participation welcome at all parts of the Remembrance event. You will be able to donate for a Red Poppy at points through the town prior to Eye Remembrance day.
