EyesWrite is proud to present four new one-act plays by local Suffolk writers.
Two of the plays by Roger Curtis, “Black Pearl” and “Child Star”, both vastly different in content and style. Roger is a long standing member of The Theatre Royal Writers in Bury St Edmunds. One play is a gothic tale while the other deals with the more serious subject of violence and children.
“Carnivores”, a gruesome tale, has been written by an up and coming writer, David Howgego, and tells us of what happens when a family of chefs sit down to eat. David has written for EyesWrite on other occasions and his plays have always been well received.
“Still Me”, a poignant play that deals with the problems of dementia and is set in a home for the elderly, has been written by local writer Josie Fuller. This is her debut play and we are sure it will not be her last.
