Bat Walk and Talk
Wednesday 2nd August 8.30 pm
Eye Fire Station Lambseth Street
Do we have new neighbours in our bat boxes behind the fire station?
Norfolk and Norwich Bat Group.
Come and join us for a guided walk and talk at dusk led by Lindsey Bilston
from the Norfolk and Norwich Bat Group. This will be an opportunity to learn
about these night-time flyers and to use bat detectors to listen for their
distinct calls.
We’ll assemble in the Fire Station Meeting Room for a briefing and then walk
out along the beck and along the footpath and board walk. If you are driving
to Eye then street park in Lambseth Street, keeping clear of the Fire Station
entrance.
Donations on the day of £5 per adult will be gratefully received to support
the ongoing maintenance and purchase of bat detection equipment.
