PUBLIC NOTICE
The outcome of the vote to have a one-way system in Church Street is as follows:
168 people voted on 15th June 2024.
108 people voted against and 60 voted for a one-way system.
Eye Town Council will continue to work with Suffolk Highways to find alternative solutions to make the roads in the centre of Eye safer for pedestrians and cyclists.
The Mayor would like to thank all the residents, business owners and councillors who helped staff the vote, and also those who gave up their time to count the votes.
